Gathering Scattered Israel On Both Sides of the Veil - One By One
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we can find great joy and purpose in the divine mandate to gather Israel on both sides of the veil. Our understanding of gathering extends beyond the mortal realm, encompassing the work for the salvation of those who have passed on as well as those currently living. This sacred responsibility is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and is a central aspect of our faith.
Gathering Israel on both sides of the veil involves engaging in family history and temple work to ensure that our ancestors have the opportunity to receive essential ordinances, enabling them to progress on their journey toward exaltation. In addition to this, it also means actively sharing the message of the restored gospel with those around us, inviting them to come unto Christ and partake in the blessings of His Atonement. By participating in this grand work of gathering, we strive to strengthen the bonds of family, connect generations, and fulfill the Lord's commandment to bring souls unto Him. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are privileged to be part of this great cause, contributing to the fulfillment of God's plan for His children on both sides of the veil.
